The LightJockey controller software comes bundled with hardware to enable DMX trans-mission to control DMX-512 fixtures from your PC. The LightJockey supports two types of hardware: an 8-bit ISA card and a parallel printer port interface. The hardware can be damaged by static electricity. Release static electric charges before handling the hardware. Martin Light Jockey for Mac? Does anyone know if there is a version of Martin Light Jockey for Mac users? The company I have been interning with uses it for their lights, and while i have a PC laptop as well as my MBP, id rather just use it on my Mac, which is significantly better. Lightkey combines the power of a professional DMX lighting console with the ease and style of a Mac—perfect for musicians, nightclubs, live events, churches & more. Lightjockey Software

The nightclub I work at is doing some renovations, one of which is installing Martin Lightjockey.
I'm in charge of OVERSEEING the renovation, or at least the renovations to the lighting and DJ booth.
We've hired a lighting tech team that is pretty solid, but they aren't familiar with Lightjockey.
I mentioned to the owner of the club that it might be worthwhile hiring someone who's familiar with Lightjockey programming to come in for a day or two and program some good scenes to start us out with... does anyone do this? Is it even worthwhile or is Lightjockey so easy that it's not even worthwhile? I thought this wouldbe a good place to ask!
